NERDS RULE INC. ACADEMY Cohort 3 We are excited to welcome NRI Cohort 3 Fellow Gabriel-Cosmin Mihali from Cluj, Romania

I believe my biggest strength is how easily I can approach people and make friends. I find myself as a highly empathetic person, I can influence the people around me, I have a really strong sense of humor and I can always lighten up a room.

I am most proud of myself for learning to never judge people and to just look deeply into them. During my teen years I’ve been bullied a lot and I’ve managed to find the most peace in looking at a person and to try and figure out the reasons behind their actions. In this way, I learned that a person is never 100% responsible for the ill-intentioned actions they have or for the ugly things they say, but rather they are the result of an accumulation of social and epigenetic factors to which that person was exposed.
